Privacy policy

Zapnow, Inc. (“Zapnow,” “we,” “us”) respects your privacy. This policy applies to the Meegy storefront and related checkout experiences we control. Third parties (such as Shopify, payment processors, and carriers) have their own policies.

1. Information we collect

1.1 You provide directly

• Account & order data: name, email, phone, billing and shipping addresses, cart contents, and purchase history.
• Support communications: messages, attachments, and call-back numbers you share with support@meegy.io.
• Marketing preferences: newsletter sign-ups or opt-ins where offered.

1.2 Collected automatically

• Device & log data: IP address, browser type, operating system, referring URLs, pages viewed, and timestamps.
• Cookies & similar technologies: session identifiers, preferences, fraud-prevention signals, and analytics IDs as described in Section 5.

1.3 From partners

We may receive fraud scores, delivery status, or address validation from Shopify, carriers, and payment networks to fulfill orders and reduce risk.

2. How we use information

We use personal information to:

• Process, fulfill, ship, and support purchases;
• Authenticate sessions, prevent fraud, and secure our services;
• Communicate transactional messages (order confirmations, shipping updates);
• Improve products, site performance, and customer experience;
• Comply with law, respond to lawful requests, and enforce our terms;
• Send marketing communications when you have opted in, or where soft opt-in applies under applicable law.

3. Legal bases (where applicable)

Depending on your region, we rely on contract (to fulfill your order),legitimate interests (security, analytics, product improvement), consent (non-essential cookies or marketing where required), and legal obligation (tax, accounting, regulatory compliance).

4. How we share information

We may share data with:

• Shopify and its subprocessors that power commerce, hosting, and checkout;
• Payment processors (for example, card networks and digital wallets) to authorize and settle payments—we do not store full payment card numbers on our servers;
• Carriers and fulfillment partners to deliver goods and provide tracking;
• Analytics and email providers under contractual confidentiality terms;
• Professional advisors (lawyers, accountants) and counterparties in a merger or acquisition subject to confidentiality;
• Authorities when required by law or to protect rights, safety, and integrity of customers and Zapnow.

We do not sell personal information for money as “sale” is defined in Nevada law.

5. Cookies and analytics

We use strictly necessary cookies to operate the cart and checkout. Where permitted, we use analytics or performance cookies to understand traffic patterns. You can control cookies through your browser settings; disabling certain cookies may break checkout features.

6. Retention

We retain order and accounting records as needed for tax, fraud prevention, and dispute resolution—often seven (7) years for financial records unless a shorter period is required. Marketing data is retained until you unsubscribe or we delete inactive profiles according to internal schedules.

7. Security

We implement administrative, technical, and organizational measures appropriate to the risk (encryption in transit via HTTPS, access controls, vendor diligence). No method of transmission over the Internet is 100% secure.

8. Your rights and choices

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or port certain data, and to object or restrict certain processing. Submit requests to privacy@meegy.io. We will verify identity before acting. You may appeal denials where applicable law provides an appeal process.

California residents: you may designate an authorized agent; we may require proof of authorization. We do not discriminate for exercising privacy rights.

9. Children

Our storefront is not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe we have, contact privacy@meegy.io for prompt deletion.

10. International transfers

If you access the site from outside the United States, your information may be processed in the United States and other countries where we or our vendors operate, which may have different data protection laws.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be posted on this page with an updated “Last updated” date and, where appropriate, additional notice (email or banner).
